The array of activities in the surroundings was perfect for our large family. We enjoyed cycling, horse riding, and fishing, which kept everyone entertained and happy. The kids, who are all under 2 years old, absolutely loved exploring the beautiful surroundings and getting involved in these fun activities. The host, Helena, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Her warmth and genuine care for our family made the experience even more special.
For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated play area for the children.

The room was spacious and cool, perfect for chilling with friends after a day of cycling around the beautiful surroundings. Helena, our host, was super friendly and helped us plan our activities like horse riding and fishing. We even had a blast exploring the nearby Camino de Santiago! The breakfast provided was delicious and gave us the energy to keep going. We highly recommend Casa De Azzancha for an epic time!
The only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene nearby. As young party-goers, we craved some late-night fun after our active days.

The meals at this homestay were absolutely delicious and made with traditional ingredients of the region. I felt like I was dining in a gourmet restaurant, but with the convenience of being produced onsite.
Wireless didn't work in the room.

The rooms at Casa De Azzancha were cozy and comfortable, with simple furnishings that made me feel right at home. The private bathroom was a definite plus, and I loved having the option of a balcony to enjoy the view. The tile/marble floor added a touch of elegance to the room, and the seating area provided a great spot to relax after a busy day of exploring.
Personally, I found that the balcony was a bit small, but hey, that's just me!

We had a fantastic stay here. The host was absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The personalized touches like freshly toasted bread with olive oil and sugar, as well as the delicious lemongrass tea, were delightful surprises. The host even took care of our laundry and offered to drive us to a nearby restaurant. We really enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the place.
The only issue we had was with a stray dog that followed us during our walk to Golegã. We were concerned for its safety on the busy road and couldn't take it with us.
